Yes, in general mobile massage therapy is safe. We employ therapists licensed by the Arizona State Board of Massage, so the therapist entering your home has been screened by the board for criminal activity pertaining to the issuance of a massage license. We highly recommend you research any health conditions you have to see if they are contraindicated for massage therapy.
During a mobile massage session, you can expect the same level of professionalism and quality as you would in a traditional massage setting. The therapist will bring their equipment and set up in your designated space and will ask about any specific areas of concern or preferences before beginning the massage. Client draping is identical to a traditional massage setting and as dictated by Arizona law.
For any massage you should disrobe to your comfort level. Whether you decide to completely disrobe, remain fully clothed, or somewhere in between your therapist will adjust their approach to make sure you receive the best treatment possible. Clients who decide to disrobe to any degree will always be appropriately covered during their massage. If at any time you feel the draping needs to be adjusted simply let your therapist know.
Tipping is always appreciated, but it's not required. If you're happy with the massage and want to show your appreciation, a tip of 15-20% is typical for most massage therapy sessions.
